Tummy Tuck Cost in Turkey 2026: What Decides Your Price
Medical editor: Dr. Semih Yıldız, plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon (FEBOPRAS) · Last updated: October 2026
A tummy tuck in Turkey starts from €2,720 for the mini version and from €3,700 for a full tummy tuck, which includes abdominal liposuction. These are surgical prices; at Dr. Semih Yıldız's clinic the price is quoted individually for each case after he has reviewed your photos and medical history. What moves the figure most is the operation your abdomen needs: a mini or full tummy tuck, or an extended technique after major weight loss. Added procedures and extra nights in hospital change it further.
The figures on our page about tummy tuck surgery in Istanbul are starting points for each technique, not averages. This guide explains what moves a quotation above that starting point, what the surgical price already covers, which costs sit outside it and what a written quotation should make clear before you book.
Starting prices by technique
Each technique treats a different problem, so each has its own starting surgical price in Dr. Yıldız's practice:
Mini tummy tuck, for limited loose skin below the belly button: from €2,720.
Full tummy tuck, including abdominal liposuction: from €3,700.
Tummy tuck with 360 liposuction of the flanks and lower back: from €3,870.
Tummy tuck with Brazilian butt lift, using the fat removed to shape the buttocks: from €4,290.
Fleur-de-lis and belt lipectomy after major weight loss: from €5,650.
In a full tummy tuck, liposuction of the abdomen is a standard part of the operation and fine-tunes the contour, so it does not appear as a separate extra.
Your anatomy sets the starting point
The largest factor is the technique, and that is decided by your abdomen rather than by preference. Loose skin that reaches above the belly button, stretch marks across the middle of the abdomen or a bulge from separated muscles (diastasis recti) point to a full tummy tuck. Choosing a mini tummy tuck because it starts at a lower figure would leave those areas unchanged, and correcting them later means a second operation and a second recovery.
After major weight loss, loose skin often extends around the waist and in more than one direction. Fleur-de-lis and belt lipectomy remove much more tissue and take longer, which is why they start higher. Scars from earlier abdominal operations can also change how the skin is lifted, so they are reviewed before any technique is proposed.
Timing protects what you invest. A tummy tuck is not a weight-loss operation, and it gives the most lasting result when it is done at a stable weight. If you are planning another pregnancy soon, it is usually better to wait, because pregnancy can stretch the repaired muscles and skin again.
What else changes the total
Once the technique is clear, a handful of items move the final figure:
Added procedures: a tummy tuck is often combined with 360 liposuction, a Brazilian butt lift or breast surgery. Each addition lengthens the operation and is built into the plan and the price.
Operating time and anaesthesia: a tummy tuck takes about 2–4 hours under general anaesthesia. Combined operations take longer, which affects theatre and anaesthesia time.
Hospital nights: after a full tummy tuck, including the combined and extended techniques, the planned stay is two nights. Any night beyond the stay planned for your operation is charged separately at the hospital's rates, and whether one is needed is often clear only after surgery.
Medical findings: diabetes, a previous blood clot or other conditions can mean extra tests, a longer hospital stay or a decision to stage procedures rather than combine them. These are safety decisions first. Standard blood tests are part of the surgical price, but extra tests needed because of a condition like these are charged separately at the hospital's rates.
Aftercare extras: lymphatic drainage massage can be arranged during your stay. It is an optional extra and not part of the surgical or package price.
What is included, and what to budget for
The surgical price covers more than the operation itself. For a tummy tuck it includes:
The operation and general anaesthesia
The hospital stay planned for your operation
Standard pre-operative blood tests
Your compression garment and the medicines you take home
Check-ups and stitch removal in Istanbul
If you would rather not organise the stay yourself, you can ask for a full package price as well as the surgical price. It adds hotel accommodation, transfers between the airport, hotel and hospital, and accommodation for a companion. Flights are never included in either price.
That leaves a few items to plan for separately:
Flights for you, and for a companion if one comes with you
Accommodation for about 10 days in Istanbul if you book the surgical price only; with the full package, check how many nights the hotel covers
Time off work: about 2–3 weeks for a desk job and around 6 weeks for physical work or heavy lifting
Travel insurance, as standard policies often exclude complications of planned surgery
Whichever you choose, resist the temptation to shorten the stay to keep the budget down. The 10 days allow the drains to be removed and the wounds to be checked before the flight home.
What the written quotation should state
A clear quotation describes a defined operation, not just its name. Yours should list:
The technique, and whether muscle repair and liposuction beyond the abdomen are planned
Any procedure combined in the same operation
The hospital, the anaesthesia and the number of hospital nights planned
Whether the figure is the surgical price or the full package price
Check-ups and drain removal in Istanbul, and remote follow-up once you are home
What is not included, such as flights
Revisions are assessed individually. If your surgeon considers a revision medically appropriate, there is no additional surgeon's fee, and operating-room and material costs are charged at cost. Changes that come later with time and tissue ageing, such as skin that loosens again years after the operation, are treated and charged as a new operation.
Why a personal price needs your photos
A figure given without seeing your abdomen can only be a starting price. Photos show how much skin is loose and where, whether a bulge suggests separated muscles, how fat is spread around the waist and where earlier scars lie. Your medical history adds what photos cannot: medicines, health conditions, weight changes and plans for pregnancy.
For the free online assessment, send clear front and side photos of your abdomen, your height and weight, details of previous abdominal operations and a list of your medicines. Dr. Semih Yıldız reviews them, and you receive a personalised plan and a written quotation with clear package details before booking. The technique is agreed before the day of surgery, and the incision line is marked after your face-to-face consultation. The techniques and current starting prices are also summarised on our abdominoplasty page.
Frequently asked questions
Does the price change if I lose weight before surgery?
It can. A significant change in weight alters the amount of loose skin and fat, and sometimes the technique that suits you. It is wiser to reach a weight you can keep, hold it stable for a few months and then send updated photos, so that the plan and the quotation describe the abdomen that will actually be operated on.
Can I choose a mini tummy tuck to keep the price lower?
Only if a mini tummy tuck suits your abdomen. It treats loose skin below the belly button through a shorter scar, but it does not tighten the skin above the belly button or repair a muscle separation there. If your problem reaches higher, the result would disappoint, and a full tummy tuck later would mean a second operation and a second recovery.
Is a tummy tuck combined with other surgery more expensive?
Yes, because each added procedure lengthens the operation, although the planned hospital stay is still two nights when liposuction or a Brazilian butt lift is added. Combining can still make sense, for example a tummy tuck with 360 liposuction when fat sits on the flanks and back. Whether it is safe for you depends on your health and the total operating time, so it is decided after assessment, and staging is sometimes the better choice.
