Temporal Lift Cost in Turkey 2026: Which Operation You Need

A temporal lift in Turkey starts from €1,870, and when it is extended to the fox eye triple lift, which adds a canthopexy at the outer corner of the eye and a midface lift, the price starts from €2,130. These are surgical starting prices; at Dr. Semih Yıldız's clinic the price is quoted individually for each case once he has reviewed your photos and medical history. Where your own figure lands depends mainly on which operation matches your concern, whether upper eyelid surgery is added, and the anaesthesia and hospital stay involved.

Both figures also appear on the page for the temporal lift in Istanbul. Dr. Yıldız plans the direction and degree of the lift for each face.

Start with what bothers you

The figure that matters is the one for the operation that actually solves your concern. A tired-looking outer eye can have several causes, and each points to a different plan:

  • A low tail of the brow that makes the eyes look tired or sad: a temporal lift on its own is usually the right scale of operation.

  • Extra eyelid skin folding over the lashes as well: a temporal lift will not remove it, so upper eyelid surgery is added.

  • An outer eye corner you would like to sit higher, for a more almond-shaped contour: a temporal lift does not move the corner itself; that is the role of the canthopexy in the fox eye triple lift.

  • A whole brow that has dropped, including its inner end: a temporal lift is too limited, and a full brow lift may suit you better.

Choosing a smaller operation for a concern it cannot correct can mean a second operation later, so the diagnosis comes before the figure.

What each option involves

  • Temporal lift: the tail of the brow and the soft tissue of the temple are raised and secured through short incisions inside the temple hair. It takes 1–2 hours under local anaesthesia with sedation or general anaesthesia, most people go back to their hotel the same day, and about 7 days in Istanbul are planned. Desk work is usually possible after 7–10 days, and the final result appears at 3–6 months.

  • Temporal lift with eyelid surgery: the same day-surgery setting, with excess skin removed through upper eyelid surgery in the same operation. The eyelid step is added to the quotation, and your plan sets the dates for stitch removal and the flight home.

  • Fox eye triple lift: the temporal lift is combined with a canthopexy, which supports and gently lifts the outer corner of the eye, and a midface lift, which lifts the cheek tissues below the lower eyelid. It is performed under general anaesthesia, usually takes 2–3 hours and is followed by one night in hospital. Allow roughly 7–10 days in Istanbul and 10–14 days off desk work; the final result appears at 3–6 months.

A hospital night, a longer stay in Istanbul and more days away from work are part of what each option asks of you, alongside the figure in the quotation.

Whichever option fits, the surgical price covers the operation and the anaesthesia, the time in hospital planned for it, the standard blood tests before surgery, the medicines you take home and your check-ups in Istanbul, including stitch removal. If a pre-existing health condition calls for further tests or an extra night in hospital, these are charged separately at the hospital's rates. Flights are never included. If you would like your stay organised as well, the full package price adds your hotel, transfers between the airport, hotel and hospital, and accommodation for a companion.

Why combined steps are planned as one operation

When a heavy outer eye has two causes, treating both under one anaesthetic means one recovery and one trip, and the surgeon can balance the brow and the eyelid against each other. Lifting the tail of the brow changes how much eyelid skin needs to be removed, for example, so the two steps are planned together rather than one after the other.

The same logic applies to the fox eye triple lift. The canthopexy and the midface lift are designed around the new position of the outer brow, so the three steps are planned, and priced, as one operation.

Earlier threads, fillers and eye health

Previous threads, fillers or facial procedures are reviewed before the plan is made, because they change the tissue the surgeon works in. Say which treatments you had, roughly when and where, and whether any thread can still be felt under the skin. If you have had a brow lift, a temporal lift or eyelid surgery before, say so and send the operation notes if you have them: earlier scars and changes in position affect what is possible and how the operation is planned.

If the fox eye triple lift interests you, the health of the eye surface and the tone of the lower eyelids are assessed carefully as well. Dry eyes, previous eye surgery or loose lower lids do not always rule out a canthopexy, but they can change the plan, so mention them from the start.

Points to confirm in writing before you book

The written quotation records what applies to your case. Check that it states:

  1. the exact operation: temporal lift, temporal lift with upper eyelid surgery or fox eye triple lift

  2. the type of anaesthesia and whether a hospital night is planned

  3. the dates of your check-ups and stitch removal in Istanbul, usually around day 7 after a temporal lift, so you can time your flight home

  4. how follow-up continues by photos and video calls once you are home

  5. whether the figure is the surgical price or the full package price

Once the tissues have settled, one brow may sit slightly higher than the other, or the lift may turn out smaller than planned. Such a correction is assessed individually: if Dr. Yıldız considers a revision medically appropriate, he charges no additional surgeon's fee, while the operating room and materials are charged at cost. A brow that slowly drops again over the years as the tissues age is a different matter; that is treated as a new operation and charged as one.

To request your personal price, send clear photos of your face from the front and the side, with your forehead relaxed, for a free online assessment, and list earlier treatments and any eye problems. A personalised plan and a written quotation reach you before you book; the face-to-face consultation and the tests follow in Istanbul, before surgery. Preparation, recovery and risks are described in detail on our temporal lift page.

Frequently asked questions

Does a temporal lift change the shape of my eyes?

Not the eye itself. A temporal lift raises the outer brow and the temple, which opens up the outer eye area and softens a tired or sad look, but the corner of the eye stays where it is. If you want the outer corner lifted into a more almond shape, that needs a canthopexy, which is part of the fox eye triple lift.

Can I have a temporal lift under local anaesthesia?

Yes. A temporal lift on its own can be performed under local anaesthesia with sedation or under general anaesthesia, and the choice is made with you during planning, based on your health and preference. The fox eye triple lift is performed under general anaesthesia. Whichever is chosen, the written quotation names the type of anaesthesia.

When should I book my flights?

Only after your written plan has been agreed. For a temporal lift, allow about 7 days in Istanbul so the stitches can come out around day 7 before you fly. For the fox eye triple lift, allow about 7–10 days. If upper eyelid surgery is added, your plan gives the dates that take the eyelid stitches into account.
