Breast lift cost in Turkey 2026: what changes the price
Medical editor: Dr. Semih Yıldız, plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon (FEBOPRAS) · Last updated: October 2026
A breast lift in Turkey starts from €2,470 for an operation that reshapes your own breast tissue. This is a surgical starting price; at Dr. Semih Yıldız's clinic the price is quoted individually for each case after he has reviewed your photos and medical history. What moves it most is whether you want extra volume, how much reshaping your breasts need, any procedure combined with the lift and how many nights you spend in hospital.
The same starting figure is published on the page for breast lift surgery in Istanbul. Two women who both describe their breasts as having dropped can need quite different operations.
Lift alone or lift with volume: the biggest difference
A lift removes stretched skin, raises the nipple and reshapes the tissue you already have, but it does not make the breast bigger. If your main wish is a higher, firmer shape at roughly your current size, the plan is a lift alone, and the €2,470 starting surgical price applies.
If your breasts have also emptied, especially in the upper part, volume becomes part of the plan, and this is the decision that changes the price most. An implant moves you to a separate starting price: the surgical price for a breast lift with implants begins at €3,440 with Motiva implants. For a modest gain in fullness, fat transfer is sometimes an alternative. It adds liposuction of another area to the same operation, so it changes the plan and the price as well. Which route suits you follows from your examination, not from a price list.
How much reshaping your breasts need
The degree of sagging decides the lift pattern. Mild sagging can often be corrected through an incision around the areola, moderate sagging usually needs the lollipop (vertical) pattern and advanced sagging the anchor (inverted-T) pattern. The further the nipple has to move and the more loose skin there is, the more surgical work the lift involves within its usual 2–3 hours.
Several details are usually dealt with in the same operation: making an enlarged areola smaller, shaping the lower half of the breast and reducing a difference between the two sides. Each breast is planned on its own, so one side may need more correction than the other.
It is tempting to ask for the smallest possible incision to keep both the scar and the bill down. Yet if the incision is smaller than the sagging requires, the breast often ends up flat or still low, and putting that right later means a second operation.
Procedures combined with the lift
After pregnancy or weight loss, a lift is sometimes combined with another operation, such as a tummy tuck or liposuction. Combining procedures means one recovery instead of two, but it also means a longer anaesthetic, more healing for your body to do at once and, in some cases, an extra night in hospital. All of this changes the price.
Whether a combination is sensible depends on your general health and on the total operating time. A careful plan keeps that time within safe limits and may suggest two separate operations instead, even when a single trip sounds more convenient.
Hospital nights, tests and the days around surgery
Most women stay one night in hospital after a breast lift and then recover at a hotel, spending about seven days in Istanbul in total. The hospital stay planned for your operation is part of the surgical price, so a longer stay planned around a combined procedure is already reflected in your quote. Extra nights or tests that become necessary because of a pre-existing condition are charged separately, at the hospital's rates.
Pre-operative tests come before any general anaesthetic, and the standard blood tests are included in the surgical price. If you are over 40 or have a family history of breast disease, a breast ultrasound or mammogram may be added. If you have had breast imaging recently, send the report together with your photos.
Flights are never included. Plan, too, for time off work: usually 1–2 weeks for a desk job and 4–6 weeks for a job that involves lifting. The surgical price does not cover your hotel or transfers. If you would rather not organise these yourself, a full package price is available on request. It adds hotel accommodation, transfers between the airport, hotel and hospital, and accommodation for a companion.
What the price covers and what your quote should state
The surgical price covers the operation and general anaesthesia, the hospital stay planned for it, standard pre-operative blood tests, your surgical bra, the medication you take home, and the check-ups, dressings and stitch removal in Istanbul. The written quote then sets out what is particular to your case. Before you book, check that it states:
the type of lift planned and whether an implant or fat transfer is included
the number of hospital nights planned, especially if another procedure is combined with the lift
any breast imaging you need before surgery
whether you are being quoted the surgical price or the full package
how long the quote is valid, and the deposit and cancellation terms
Having these points in writing leaves little room for surprises.
The need for a revision is one of the listed risks of a breast lift, so it helps to know the policy before you book. Each case is assessed individually. If Dr. Semih Yıldız considers a revision medically appropriate, he charges no additional surgeon's fee, while the operating theatre, materials and any implant are charged at cost. Changes that come later with time and tissue ageing are different: a breast that sags again years later is treated as a new operation and charged as one.
How your personal price is worked out
For the online assessment, send clear front and side photos of your chest, taken in good light without a bra, together with your medical history, the medicines and supplements you take and details of any previous breast surgery. Mention whether you smoke: nicotine has to be stopped at least 4 weeks before and after surgery, because it reduces blood flow to the nipple and the healing skin. Mention, too, if a pregnancy or a large weight loss is in your plans. Waiting usually protects the result and saves you paying for a lift that may need repeating.
Once Dr. Semih Yıldız has reviewed these details, you are sent a personalised plan and a written quote, before any booking is made. The plan is confirmed at a face-to-face consultation before surgery, and the incision lines are drawn with you standing.
Everything else, from the recovery timeline to the full list of risks, is set out on our mastopexy page.
Frequently asked questions
Is the price lower if only one breast needs lifting?
Sometimes one breast has dropped much more than the other, and occasionally a lift on that side alone is enough to match a breast that already sits well. More often both breasts need some correction to look like a pair, even if one needs more than the other. Whether a one-sided lift would work for you, and how that affects the price, can only be judged from photos and an examination.
Which expenses should I plan for besides the quote?
Flights to and from Istanbul are never included. The surgical price does not cover your hotel for the roughly seven days or your transfers; the full package price adds both, together with accommodation for a companion. Beyond that, plan for meals and the income you may lose during 1–2 weeks off work, or 4–6 weeks if your job involves lifting. Many women also buy soft, supportive bras for the months after the surgical bra phase.
Can the price change after the face-to-face consultation?
If your photos and history gave an accurate picture, the plan usually stays as agreed. The examination before surgery confirms it, and occasionally it shows something the photos could not, such as a larger difference between the breasts or a finding on breast imaging. Any change to the plan, and to the price, should be explained to you and agreed before surgery.
