Breast augmentation cost in Turkey 2026: what affects the price?

Breast augmentation in Turkey starts from €3,020 with Motiva implants, and from €5,530 for the Motiva Preserve technique, a tissue-preserving operation that uses Motiva Ergonomix2 implants. These are surgical prices; at Dr. Semih Yıldız's clinic the price is quoted individually for each case, after he has reviewed your photos and medical history. Where your own figure lands depends mainly on which of these two operations suits your breasts, whether a lift or fat transfer is added, and how many nights you spend in hospital.
Both are starting figures for breast augmentation in Istanbul. Below is what lies behind them, what can move them, and what to look for when you compare written quotations.
Two starting points: standard implants or the Preserve technique
In the standard operation, Motiva silicone implants, round or ergonomic (teardrop-like) in shape, are inserted through a short incision in the fold under the breast and placed above the chest muscle, under the thin layer covering it (the fascia) or partly under the muscle (dual plane). This is the operation behind the figure from €3,020.
The Motiva Preserve technique is a different operation, not just a different implant. It combines Motiva Ergonomix2 implants with a smaller incision and a more limited pocket, designed to preserve more of your own tissue, and it may shorten the early part of recovery. It suits selected patients only. Whether you are one of them is decided from your anatomy at the assessment, so it is not something to pick from a list. Its starting figure is €5,530.
Additions that change the plan
Three things change a breast augmentation plan, and with it the quotation, more than anything else:
A breast lift. If your nipples sit at or below the breast fold, an implant alone will not raise them. The implant is then combined with a lift, a longer operation with additional scars, planned as a breast lift with implants.
Fat transfer. Your own fat, taken by liposuction, can soften the edge of an implant in thin tissue or add a little volume where it is missing. It adds a second surgical step and a treated donor area.
More nights in hospital. One night of monitoring is standard. A combined operation or your general health can make a longer stay sensible, and nights beyond the planned stay are charged separately at the hospital's rates.
The implant type matters as well, as the two starting figures already show. Motiva implants are used by default, and both figures are based on them; very large implants, textured implants (Polytech or Mentor) and anatomic implants are available at extra cost. Within the standard operation, the shape, profile and volume are chosen from your measurements and the look you want, and a 3D simulation can be used at the consultation if it helps you decide.
Anaesthesia, hospital and tests before surgery
The operation is performed under general anaesthesia and usually takes one to two hours, followed by a night in hospital. On the day of surgery you have pre-operative tests and a face-to-face consultation, and the final implant is confirmed with sizers.
Some women need more before they can be operated on safely. If you are over 40, or breast disease runs in your family, a breast ultrasound or mammogram may be needed first. A medical condition or regular medication can also mean extra checks. The standard pre-operative blood tests are included in the surgical price; further tests that an existing condition calls for are charged separately at the hospital's rates.
Implant exchange and revisions
Replacing existing implants is a different operation from a first augmentation. The old implants come out, sometimes with part or all of the scar capsule around them, the pocket may need reshaping, and in some cases a lift is added. How much of this is needed only becomes clear from an examination and, often, imaging. A secondary operation like this therefore needs its own assessment and its own quotation, and it is priced higher than a first augmentation, even when it looks like a simple exchange.
If a further operation is needed after an augmentation with Dr. Semih Yıldız, it is also assessed individually. When he considers a revision medically appropriate, he charges no additional surgeon's fee; the operating room, materials and any new implants are charged at cost. Changes that come later with time and tissue ageing, such as a breast that sags again years after the operation, are treated as a new operation and charged as such.
What the surgical price covers, and what to budget for beyond it
The figures in this post are surgical prices. They cover the operation and anaesthesia, the hospital stay planned for it, the standard pre-operative blood tests, your surgical bra, your take-home medication, and the check-ups and stitch removal in Istanbul. If you would rather not organise your stay yourself, the full package price adds hotel accommodation, transfers between the airport, hotel and hospital, and accommodation for a companion. Flights are not included in either.
Your overall plan should also allow for:
your flights and, if someone comes with you, theirs, plus a hotel for about seven days in Istanbul if you choose the surgical price alone
one to two weeks away from desk work, or four to six weeks if your job involves lifting
front-fastening tops, and a supportive sports bra once you return to exercise
implant check-ups in future and, at some point, possibly another operation, because breast implants are not lifetime devices
Comparing quotations like for like
A lower figure is only comparable if it contains the same things. For breast augmentation, check that each quotation names:
The implant: the manufacturer and type, not just “silicone implants”. Motiva implants are used as standard here, and a quotation that leaves the implant open cannot be compared with one that names it.
The technique: the standard operation or the Preserve technique, and the planned incision.
Anaesthesia and monitoring: general anaesthesia and the number of nights in hospital.
Aftercare: the surgical bra, medication, check-ups in Istanbul and follow-up after you return home.
Complications: what happens, and what is covered, if bleeding or an infection needs treatment.
If one quotation is lower because an item on this list is missing, the two are not offering the same operation.
